I got your 'Thanks'

At this time of year, everyone likes to list out all the things they are thankful for and it generally winds up being the standard, prosaic responses. "I am thankful for my family" "I am thankful for my friends" "I am thankful for my health" Blaaaaaaaah.
Whatever.
Sure, I'm thankful for my friends, family and health as well, but I do my best to express these sentiments on any given day and generally use my Thanksgiving 'thankful' thoughts to be about the more simple things that get over looked.
I had planned on listing out some of the things, from the year past, that I am thankful for. The little things. However, I have since decided that I will narrow it down to one.

I am thankful that I was able to stay at home in my jammas alone with my pooch. I am thankful for the five healthy babies that she produced today shortly after halftime of the Denver game. Mama and babies are healthy and beautiful.

I sleep tonight, thankful, for all my furry blessings.
